Together, Bernie Kampf, Robert Panke, Dave Simpson and Ron Porter are known as Tricoustic.
These talented individuals, Bernie, Bob, Dave amd Ron combine their talent and energy to provide a musical experience that is greater than the sum of the parts.
BERNIE
Bernard Kampf is the dynamic lead guitar player for Tricoustic and he even does a bit of backup singing. He honed his skills playing the east coast rock and jazz scenes and developed a nice country feel while vacationing with Uncle Sam in foreign lands. Email: bernie@tricoustic.com
BOB
Robert Panke is Tricoustic's jack-of-all-trades, switching off between guitar and bass as well as lead and backup vocals. His musical career spans back to the 1960s when he was accepted as the guitar player and singer for local garage band The Flintones. He later put his guitar down and experimented with the bass. He honed his skills on the 4, 5, 8, and 12 string basses playing in the popular bar bands Rob Boss and The Employees and dBlondz. Email: bob@tricoustic.com
DAVE
Dave Simpson handles lead and backup vocals as well as rhythm and lead guitar. He has established his reputation as an instrumentalist and vocalist with such bands as The Sixty-niners, Mercy Steele, Strychnine and August .
RON
Ron Porter provides the backbeat while adding a fourth vocal dimension. His flexibility in matters of percussion allows Tricoustic to perform in a wide range of situations from mellow acoustic to high power electric and everywhere in between.
Ron also works with a variety of other performers including August and Rock Classique .
